Pacific Hills Falling is a local, owner-operated tree service based on the Sunshine Coast, BC. We specialize in danger tree removal, residential tree care, Handfalling and lot clearing for homeowners, excavating contractors, and developers.
The company is owned and operated by Beau Smith, a certified BCFSC handfaller, climber, and OFA 3 first aid attendant.
We are committed to upholding current safety regulations, industry standards, and certifications, making sure every job is done safely, professionally, and to the highest standard. Behind that is our dedication to hard work, honesty, and reliability on every project we take on.

RESIDENTIAL TREE SERVICE
We offer a wide range of services for our residential clients — everything from basic limbing, topping, pruning, hedge trimming, and view enhancements to removing hazardous danger trees and tackling large-scale, technical removals. 24/7 emergency response is also available.
HANDFALLING
We provide excavating contractors, developers, and homeowners with professional, certified BCFSC fallers. Our handfalling services include select merchantable timber removal, falling for new site prep and builds, and contract falling for large-scale logging operations.
CHIPPING
Chipping is included on all residential and commercial jobs. Whether it’s cleaning up a debris pile, producing wood chips for your property, or handling the mess after a tree removal, our chipping services make green waste cleanup simple and efficient.
WOOD SPLITTER RENTALS
Our 25 ton wood splitter can split anything you throw at it, up to 27 inches in length. It offers both horizontal and vertical splitting options so there is no need to lift heavy rounds off the ground. We also provide delivery and pick-up + a full tank of gas with each rental.

Beau did some work for me around our farm. A leaning cedar that crossed the Soames trail along with a bunch of alders and a dying hemlock . I met with him briefly a couple weeks ago to let him know what needed to be done, he picked a date and true to his word he delivered on the date for the amount we discussed. He’s a hard-working guy. Very polite/courteous. And he left the trail and my driveway clean and tidy. Would definitely have him back for future work.
